Player's Guide to Joining a Ladder
The 4 Easy Steps to Joining a Ladder

STEP 1 - Create Your Player Account

If you don't already have a player account, click on Join A Ladder ~ Found in Top Tool Bar. Please complete the information requested to create your player account and don’t forget to choose your Director! It is strongly recommended that you familiarize yourself with the TM.net Rating System (right hand pane on Home Page) in order to assign yourself a rating. Your Director may also edit this rating. Click on submit & you will receive a TM.net Welcome email and will be registered in your Director’s database. If you already have a player account please don't create a new one! Just skip to step 2.

STEP 2 - Join a Ladder

Log in to your player account with your Username & Password. Next, click on Join a Ladder on the right navigational pane. If your Director has created an event to join, this is where it will appear. Read the Details & follow the prompt at the bottom of page to pay for the event. FYI, if paying via PayPal, you do not need to be a member of PayPal or use an existing membership to sign up for your event. Once paid, you will receive a TM.net confirmation email ~ TM.net Joined Event Successfully.

STEP 3 - New Ladder or Round Robin Match Announcement

As soon as your Director activates the event, you will receive a confirmation email giving you all the pertinent information to begin scheduling your match!

STEP 4 - Rules of Event

It is very important to review all Rules associated with your event. These may be found after you login to your account under the event heading.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I can't remember my password?
Please DO NOT create a new user account if you can't remember your password. Click the 'Password Recovery' link in the upper right of the page and the system will email you a new password.

What if I don't have a Paypal Account?
Players don't need a Paypal account to sign up. Even though you get transferred to Paypal when you are ready to sign up for a Ladder, you can still use your credit card by selecting that option from the Paypal screen. If you're a Pro, and you want to run your own ladder, you must have a Paypal account to handle payments.

Are there any age or skill level limits on who can sign up?
That depends on the Pro running a given ladder. On the original Live Oak Park ladder, men and women of all ages and skill levels play. Remember, your pro will do their best to put you in a spot on the ladder where the skill level is closest to yours.
